Product Empties #1

Product empties is probably one of my favorite kind of beauty video to watch,
since you get introduced to a lot of different products in a short period of time.
I've been wanting to do one too and started to keep all my empty products,
which led to quite a lot so I decided to divide it into different parts.
 Hope you you like it~

1. La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo ~20$
It says it reduces the appearance of imperfections and unclogs sebum-blocked pores.
I really like this one, it calms down break-outs nicely.
I especially like to mix this with my BB cream to get a lighter coverage.
I've already gone through 2 tubes and even though the product amount looks rather small,
it surprisingly lasts for quite a while.

2. Bio-Oil ~10$
It says specialist for scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, aging skin, dehydrated skin.
Another product I can recommend.
If you want to achieve natural healthy and radiant skin, this is for you.
But keep in mind it's no overnight miracle,
I used it for 6 weeks straight morning and night to see a difference.
An easy way to use it is to mix it with your moisturiser for the face or body.
I just brought another bottle to keep save even though I'm not using it at the moment.

3. Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution ~50$
I guess it's a nice serum that absorbs good and quickly,
but just like most dark spot correctors it needs time to see a different.
I can't really tell if this help lighten my dark spots or not.
So it being like this I wouldn't recommend it to you since the cost-benefit ration just isn't right.
Just try Bio-Oil or the Effaclar Duo instead ;D

4. Philosophy Hope In A Tube Eye And Lip firming cream ~36$ (full size)
It's a decent eye cream, but I don't think it's worth the money.
Maybe it's because I'm still young and don't need much firming yet,
but I felt it didn't do much besides deep moisturising your eye area.

5. JUJU Cosmetics Aquamoist Hyaluronic Acid Essence ~24$
It's absolutely fantastic! It is super lightweight, but still very moisturising, perfect for every skin type.
I still don't know to this point why I haven't repurchased it yet.
The only downside, it's not available everywhere,
but it's totally worth every piece of effort you make to get it.

6. L'oréal Renewal Lash Serum ~7$
Intensive Boost for a Renewed Lash Look it says.
Don't expect an immense lash growth from this,
but after a few weeks of use I saw that my lashes got thicker, a little longer and so much healthier looking.
If your someone that always wears mascara or just has rather thin lashes,
I can highly recommend this as an affordable way to enhance them,

7. Clinique Clarifying Lotion 4 Oily Skin ~13$ (6.7 oz)
Well firstly it smells like a shot, no joke :'D
It really does a good job at clarifying since my skin feels really clean after using it.
The problem I have though, is that it seems quite harsh and drying on the skin.
I really wouldn't buy it if you have sensitive skin.

8. Clearasil Ultra Pore Cleansing Pads ~10$
I've gone through many packs of those since they really work well at preventing break outs and reducing pimples.
But I think just like with the lotion this product seems a little bit harsh,
so I worry over the long time effects this product may have on my skin and decided not to purchase it for the time being.

So this is it for now, the next part will probably include make-up :D

Holographic Love

Holographic Love

Holographic Love by justnotothers

I've been loving holographic things so much lately,
I think it gives every outfit just an extra bling without being over the top,
but still attracting a lot of attention.

So, I actually  bought myself a holographic bag which I soon will show you in another haul.
I'm still on the hunt for a holographic skirt though.
If you know where to get a good and not too expensive one,
please be sure to tell me :D

What do you think about this new trend?

Dresslink Haul & Review

Dresslink Review
Dresslink is a wholesale online store from China, which sells really really cheap stuff.
I got to know about Dresslink from watching Youtube hauls,
so after I went there a few times, I finally decided to do a purchase.
I'm not getting paid to do this review^^

I'm the kind of person who looks at online shops for the longest time to not miss anything I could possibly like,
but after looking at final bill,
I just delete most of it from my card again.
So after spending multiple hours on that site, I ended up just getting 3 things...

Candy Color Stretch  Skater Mini Skirt

Dresslink Haul
cr to Dresslink (color: sapphire blue)

The skirt is really nice, the color is just so loveable~
The only downside is that it's too short on me.
I have a few asian size skirts, but this is by far the shortest.
(I'm 180cm/5'11'' for those that don't know)
I may elongate it with some white lace trim, so I'll be able to wear it.

Candy Color Suspender Skirt

Dresslink Haul
cr to Dresslink (color: purple)

This is my favorite buy. I only got compliments when I wore it since it's just so pretty.
The fabric is a little bit special though, it's not soft, but quite fine ... does that make sense?
At any rate it creases.
But for that price you really can't complain.

First of all the color of the tie looks kind of odd, like it had faded away or something.
And even though it's pretty at first sight, after using it for a few days,
it's already breaking apart.

Dresslink Review

Altogether incl. shipping (533g = 5.27$) I paid about 5.50$ per item, which I think is a really good deal.

Final Thoughts

All in all I can say it's worth to pay this site a visit sometime
since they have big variety of cute items with cheap prices.
You just have to keep in mind that you get what you pay for,
so don't be surprised if the items aren't top quality.
Also since the shipping cost is determined by weight,
you will pay a lot more when you buy heavier things like shoes or bags.

In the end I'm mostly happy with the things I brought
and I will definitely get me some more colors of that one skirt.

A little tip to end this review:
There are always  20% off coupon codes around, so be sure to check those out before you order.

How To Dye Your Hair Grey

Dye Your Hair Gray
grey hair  ye~~~~ah the feels :'D

GREY HAIR!!! I DID IT \(^-^)/
I have been wanting gray hair for the longest time >-<
Inspired was I  by Japanese gyaru that like to have grey, or greyish purple hair.

Dye Your Hair Grey

The first time I tried to dye my hair grey was last autumn,
but I failed completely and my hair came out a greenish brown....

Dye Your Hair Grey
I had to walk around with a hat until the green had faded T.T

As I succeeded now I thought I'd share with you
how I achieved my grey hair without using any hair dye
YES you read right, no hair dye was used :D

The color I had before dying was a brownish dark blond, so I had to bleach first.

new clip-ins in a drak brown shade (by dreamyhairfashions)

You need:
  • 30 Vol Developer
  • Bleaching Powder
  • A Bowl
  • Gloves
  • Aluminium Foil
  •  L'oreal Serie Expert Silver Shampoo
  • A Good Hair Treatment

I used a 30 vol developer together with bleaching powder, which is quite strong, but bearable.
Lift your hair color to a (pale) yellow.
If you start with a dark brown or black, bleach the hair twice.
The mistake I did the last time was probably to not to go light enough.

Since I  failed so bad last time, I wanted to be prepared, but I didn't use most of them :'D I recommend the REDKEN Extreme Streght Builder Plus as a hair treatment after the process, it's a life saver.

allerga natural keratin
This is keratin that I mixed with my bleach, it protects your hair a little  from all  the damage
bleaching powder ration
The mix ration is about 1:2 (Powder:developer)
The blue bleaching powder makes your hair look lighter than it actually is so make a test rinse on one streak before you do everything

Next, tone your hair with the L'oreal Silver Shampoo.
Leave it in for about 4 hours so your hair will get ride of the yellowness.
After washing that out, towel dry and repeat.
You will actually have to check for yourself when it's the best time to wash it out,
but keep in mind that after you wash it, put condition in and wash it again,
a big amount of color will get out,
so it doesn't matter if the hair is a little more bluish to begin with.

Diarichesse 9.11 Silver Iceberg
my roots didn't take the color of the shampoo at all so I dyed with the Diarichesse Silver Iceberg to get it to a decent shade too ( it's way more grenish than the shampoo, so i don't like it a lot)

and voila grey hair without the use of any hair dye (besides for the roots :'D)
dark skin grey hair
finally gray hair  :D the blueish tint will fade completely after a few washes^^

How To Get Lavender Hair

If you want to have lavender hair instead of just grey,
then just leave the shampoo in overnight and it will do the trick.
It will probably fade back into a grey shade after 2-3 hair washes though.

pastel hair
It's kind of like a lavendel gray depending on how long you let the product sit
 that face yeah...:D

So what do you think? Love it? Hate it?

Also if you have any questions just ask^^

PS: .....I've been absent for almost half a year (I really can't believe it's been so long)...
I even missed my 1 year anniversary ...
I'm really sorry guys and thanks so much for being so patient with me.
I've got so much to catch up on.
As always I want to say I'll try my best in the future, but as I know myself best,
I should already apologize beforehand.
There were even times when I thought about deleting this blog completely,
but I just got attached to it a little too much.
I asked myself if I had to persuade myself to write here,
but I've come to realize that just like before
every time I create a new post it really makes me happy,
so I really want continue and just hope you can stay patient with me a little longer.
